I am no artist
just a cardiologist
who sketches his heart.

I am no artist
my works consist of rough drafts
and lost maps of you.

I am no artist
If I was, I could map out
his organ of love.

…I am just the doctor who is trying to keep him alive,
mending his broken heart one stitch at a time.
