Time To Wake Up Again

We could pretend that these tears are from
a rain that has not yet fallen
or we could both admit that
our hearts were truly wrong when
our fragile minds believed that we could be
happy like a story of pretend
but I guess it was all a long dream
and it is time to wake up again.
