In my eyes he was a superhero
that could take away my pain
In my eyes he was a superhero
whose love for me never waned
In my eyes he was a superhero
who could protect me from all harm
In my eyes he was a superhero
With super human strength and charm.
In my eyes he was a superhero
so he wasn’t supposed to get sick
In my eyes he was a superhero
so there was no need for him to get fixed
In my eyes he was a superhero
so I didn’t understand what cancer meant
In my eyes he was a superhero
so I cried when I realized that wasn’t something he was immune against
In my eyes he was a superhero
so why couldn’t he instantly get better
In my eyes he was a superhero
so I thought he would live forever
In my eyes he is a superhero
although no longer living on this earth
My dad will always be my super hero
because he was able to go to heaven and be cured.
